Matt Styf
B&P’s “Born On Date” September 2008
Matt’s originally from Dearborn, MI and spent some time in Milwaukee, WI before his family brought him to Grand Rapids. Here he attended Grand Rapids Christian High School, were he was a member of their alpine ski team. He is currently a student at Calvin College, majoring in Math Education.
A skier since the age of 2, Matt brings a lot of on-snow experience and excitement for skiing to work everyday. One of his goals is taking a heli-ski trip but for now he skis as much as possible around Michigan and visits his favorite winter haunt, Salt Lake City, UT whenever possible for “Powder from Heaven, not Hoses!.” Joining the ski patrol in one the many resorts around Salt Lake is another of his dreams.
In the warmer months, Matt likes to hike, backpack, and paddle. He enjoys time in Montague, on Lake Michigan, canoeing, hiking, fishing, and spending beach time with his yellow lab Bartlett.
