I had been as a Boy Scout and I was tagging along with my girlfriends family as it is an annual trip for them. What you liked about this trip? It is a great place to camp along the lake shore and enjoy the bounty of Lake Michigan's beauty and serenity. What you didn't like about this trip Hiking in sand is always a pain, although the end destination is well worth the annoyance. Advice for others who might go here For sure. It is a great place to begin practicing leave no trace camping as well as enjoy a weekend on Lake michigan Advice for others who might go here Consider hiking in a good stable sandal to avoid having to empty the sand out of your shoes every 300 yards :)
