Hike #17 School has begun, but that does not mean that our hikes have stopped.  We still have 3 more from our book to complete. Then we will have to move on to other hikes in the area.  We are taking suggestions! 

Hike #16 Bass River Trail was a great nature walk. It is a very easy stroll through the woods.  We found a toad and about 5 different types of mushrooms. There were no signs of horses, but we did see a lot of tracks from mountain bikes.

Hike #15 We have been waiting for the conditions to be just right for a Chaco Day and we finally got it!   The sand, water and woods were no match for our feet...

Hike #14 What a great turn-out this week!!!!!  We had such a fun group.  Ages ranging from early 20's to 60's.  I think the young hikers were a bit surprised that we could keep up with them...
