We're upping the ski and snowboard demo game!  Here's an opportunity to join a limited number of participants* in a 4 hour program allowing you access to more knowledge and time on product than the typical demo format. You'll have full access to the reps and their products, as well as staff from B&P's.

The West Michigan Chapter of the American Alpine Club is a local nonprofit with the mission to support a shared passion for climbing and the outdoors and cultivate a united and competent climbing community. In celebration of March and International Women's month, we are presenting a night of films to inspire and empower women everywhere.

Wilderness First Responder (WFR) offered by Wilderness Medical Associates is the definitive course in medical training for outdoor educators, guides, Search and Rescue (SAR) team members, and others who work or play in remote areas. The curriculum is comprehensive and practical, including all of the essential principles and skills required to assess and manage medical problems in isolated and extreme environments. The 5-day format is for individuals and sponsors with less time available for on-site training and requires 25 hours of pre-course preparation. and 45 hours of in-class instruction. 

An introduction to the fundamental elements of flat-water kayaking. Learn about different kayak designs, participate in equipment and safety discussions, and practice paddling and safety techniques on the water.  Students will have 2-2.5 hours of paddling time available in this program.



The WMCKA Symposium offers Adult and Youth paddling classes and fun. Geared towards the beginning to intermediate kayaker, the WMCKA Symposium offers 2 1/2 days of jam-packed kayak instruction with a very low student / instructor ratio. Instruction takes place on and in the warm water of Big Blue Lake. On land instruction takes place on the grounds of Camp Pendalouan which offers you all the comforts of home.
