Classic Hiking Boot

I bought this boot for when I went to college in Michigan's Upper Peninsula. I knew I'd be hiking and backpacking on rough UP terrain and wanted something supportive and rugged to handle it. These boots handled very well on slick basalt rock and jagged conglomerate rock. They supported my ankles when travelling over slick root systems and uneven trail. I used them snowshoeing and winter camping and they kept my feet warm and dry down to freezing temperatures. Very good boot!
