Good ConceptJJ - May 15, 2021I've installed and loaded kayaks on this rack multiple times, but do not own one. Its a good concept with one system to carry two kayaks, but is not as secure as I'd want want it to be. It holds one kayak great as a saddle. When positioning the uprights vertical, securing two kayaks is cumbersome. The saddle pads seem to be too short for kayaks to rest on securely. Having to balance the kayak on the rack before being able to get a strap around them is very hard to do by oneself. It may be practical for two narrow, low volume kayaks, but loading up anything recreational sized, it's not comfortable. Even with the kayaks tied down properly, I've heard feedback that the kayaks will slide and reposition in an unsafe manner. If you want to carry two or more kayaks, there are better racks out there.
